Getting Goons:
Goon Culture can be described as a system that subscribes to the ideals of Absurdism. The basis of Absurdism is of course that life itself has no meaning beyond the here and now, there is no after life, there is no point to anything at all since in the end anything anyone does ever will not stop them from dying and being forgotten.
Not to be mistaken from the similar philosophy of Nihilism in which nothing has any meaning and you cannot give anything meaning Goons strive to give their lives meaning through acts of petty malice more commonly emotional or via a medium in which retribution is limited compared to the damage done to the target at a mental level. This behavior can be derived as quite normal under natural laws since the biological base instinct of all life is to one up its rivals and too position itself higher up the chain when it comes to food, living space and mating. The last of those is something that Goons will struggle with however since they are commonly given over to a natural cunning and mental dexterity rather than physical prowess which is a more natural yard stick of position within a group (for examples please refer to the social structures of great apes and even lower simians).
With this being the case Goons will attempt to humiliate and anger rather than physically attack as this would be playing to their weaknesses. If one is to react openly against their for what can only be described as bullying then they are providing them with what they want. Proof that they the cunning and malicious intellect has been able to one up the more physically endowed alpha male.
In current culture it could be attributed to the relationship between the popular football playing but uninterested in academic work stereotype of the Jock while Goons would be mostly in the Geek or Nerd stereo type, sitting apart from their peers planning the downfall of those who dare to steal their lunch money and mock them infront of that cute yet shy girl who hides a rather attractive figure under a large jumper and who behind the glasses and lack of confidence is the Geek version of Venus.
To sum up. Goons are after your explosions of negativity like a kind of emotional vampire that draws pleasure from your anger. Ignore them and they will go away. Feed them and they will grow like that scab on the inside of your nose that you keep picking at and it keeps getting bigger and bigger and christ leave it alone see it is coming out of your nose now and down your face and STOP PICKING IT! God now you need corrective surgery and will claim the scars are from the time some guy glassed you in a bar over an argument over whose farts smelled the closest to used oder eaters.
